About 56 civilians killed in fresh wave of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

SANAA, April 26 (YPA) – About 56 civilians were killed and 108 others injured as a result of a fresh wave of the Israeli occupation’s airstrikes on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.

The Gaza-based Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in its daily report on Saturday that the death toll from the genocidal war that the Israeli occupation waged in the Gaza Strip has reached 2,111 martyrs and 5,483 wounded since March 18, 2025.

This brings the death toll from the Israeli aggression to 51,495 martyrs and 117,524 injuries since October 7, 2023.

A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them, the ministry added.
