Palestinian resistance carries out 22 operations in West Bank over past 48 hours

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 26 (YPA) – Palestinian resistance factions continue their operations against the occupation army and settlers in the West Bank, carrying out 22 resistance operations over the past 48 hours, coinciding with the military attack the occupation has been carrying out since mid-January on cities in the northern West Bank.

The Ma’ti Palestine Information Center indicated, in its report issued on Saturday, that it monitored 22 resistance operations over the past week, ranging from shooting, detonating explosive devices, outbreak of clashes and stone-throwing in 17 different locations in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

In Jerusalem, the areas of Hizma and Beit Anan witnessed the outbreak of clashes with the occupation forces, which included stone-throwing.

In Jenin, clashes renewed in the areas of Faqqu’a Jenin and Jenin refugee camp.

Qalqilya also witnessed a similar escalation in the town of Kafr Qaddum, where similar clashes erupted.

In Nablus, violent confrontations broke out in the areas of Beita, Salem, Burin, and the popular homes.

In Bethlehem, there were confrontations with the occupation forces in the Deheishe refugee camp, in addition to confronting settlers in the town of Husan with the use of Molotov cocktails.

In Jericho, residents confronted a settler attack in Al-Auja, where stones were thrown at vehicles heading to the settlements, resulting in damage to some vehicles.

In Hebron, clashes erupted in the Al-Fawwar, Al-Arroub refugee camps and the town of Idhna, where young men threw stones at occupation forces in all these areas.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their daily raids into most cities and towns in the West Bank, launching a wide-scale campaign of raids and arrests, coinciding with settler attacks on citizens and their properties under the protection of the occupation forces.
