ALQUDS, April 26 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation’s Foreign Ministry has strongly criticized the Spanish government for canceling a €6.6 million ammunition purchase deal with the Israeli company IMI Systems, which included the supply of almost 15 million bullets.
The occupation’s spokesman strongly condemned the Spanish government’s decision, claiming that “unilaterally canceling the contract represents a sacrifice of security considerations for political goals and places Spain on the wrong side of history against the Jews.”
Earlier, Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, instructed Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska to unilaterally terminate the agreement with the Israeli company after negotiations to modify or voluntarily withdraw it had failed.
