Mother of 4 children brutally killed in Abyan

ABYAN, April 16 (YPA) – A mother was killed by his husband in Abyan governorate, which is under the control of the UAE-funded Transitional Council factions.

Human rights sources in the governorate reported that citizen Marzouq Mahfouz slaughtered his wife yesterday, inside the family home in the Al-Qalita area of ​​Maudiyah district, indicating that the victim was a mother of four children.

The sources described the incident as bloody and horrific, as Mahfouz stabbed the wife several times and slaughtered her, confirming that the perpetrator had appeared to be behaving abnormally in recent days, amid claims that he was bewitched and lost his balance whenever he approached his home.

They indicated that the person accused of killing his wife managed to flee to an unknown destination, while the motives for the incident remain mysterious until this moment.

It is worth noting that citizens in Aden and the rest of the southern governorates, including Abyan, are experiencing an unprecedented living disaster due to the economic collapse, which has affected their psychological and health conditions due to their inability to provide a living for their children without any notable reforms by the coalition-affiliated government over the past years.
