Sayyed Al-Houthi comments on Trump’s commercial war against 60 countries

SANAA, April 10 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi Abdulmalik Al-Houthi commented on the impact of US President Donald Trump’s reckless decisions to impose new customs duties on the global and American economy.

In a televised speech this evening, Thursday, on the developments in the aggression on Gaza and the US aggression on Yemen, as well as regional and international developments, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi indicated that US policies are in a state of confusion, as is currently the case globally.

He pointed out that Trump has launched a trade war against more than 60 countries, most notably countries allied with America. He emphasized that Trump is making erratic decisions that have significantly impacted the US economy, plunging it into a state of instability, turmoil, and volatility.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi said, “American political figures and officials say that Trump’s decision is the most stupid in America’s history.”

He added, “In light of this American mentality, the world should not align with its orientations, as it pursues a policy of blackmail, exploitation, pressure, occupation, and the confiscation of others’ rights.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi considered the American pressure on the entire global situation to be reckless, foolish, and improvised policies, temperamental, turbulent, and stemming from a state of immense greed.

He stated that the very deep problems in America cannot be resolved with such actions and represent an important lesson for the Arabs, noting that the American view of Arabs is one of contempt, disdain, and exploitation.

He warned against preoccupation with the trade war overshadowing interest in the Palestinian cause, which should, in fact, be a catalyst for attention to it.
