Israeli occupation forces commit new massacre in Gaza

GAZA, April 06 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation forces committed yet another massacre against Palestinian civilians and children in Gaza City on Sunday evening, following an intense artillery bombardment that targeted Al-Nakheel Street in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

According to medical and local sources, 11 civilians — including 8 children — were killed, and several others critically wounded, after Israeli artillery shelled Al-Nakheel Street in eastern Gaza City.

The Palestinian Civil Defense reported that its teams retrieved six bodies, including three children, and treated a number of severely injured civilians after an Israeli attack struck a group of people gathered around a bakery.

Israeli occupation warplanes also struck a group of civilians near Haroun Al-Rasheed School in the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, resulting in the killing of at least one civilian and the wounding of several others.

This massacre is part of a series of deadly attacks carried out by the Zionist forces as part of their ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, which entered its 21st consecutive day since the occupation broke ceasefire agreement on March 18th.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have waged a relentless aggression on the Gaza Strip, leaving 50,695 Palestinians killed, mostly children and women, and injuring 115,338 others.
