Protest rally staged in Manama to reject Israeli aggression on Gaza

MANAMA, April 05 (YPA) – A protest rally was staged on Saturday in October 7 Square in the Adliya district of the capital, Manama, to reject the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

In the rally, dozens of people demanded the cancellation of the normalization agreement with the Israeli occupation.

Some activists raised banners reading, “Palestine is my cause” and “The enemy is violating the nation.”

For its part, the Bahraini National Initiative Against Normalization with the Zionist Enemy issued a statement renewing its call to halt the aggression and boycott companies that support the occupation.

The statement, signed by 27 institutions and associations, affirmed “adherence to the principled and unwavering position of the Bahraini people in standing with the Palestinian people in liberating its land and establishing a Palestinian state on all Palestinian national soil.”

It called on the Bahraini government to “assume its legitimate, national, and patriotic responsibility by listening to the voice of the people and living conscience, which demands the closure of the occupation’s embassy.
