Official in Sanaa government warns pro-coalition forces in Taiz against involving in serving US agenda
TAIZ, April 02 (YPA) – Ahmed Al-Masawa, the acting governor of Taiz province, affiliated with the Sanaa government, has warned the forces loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Taiz against any escalation that could increase chaos and mobilization on the province’s front lines.
He described any such moves as “serving the interests of the American enemy and its aggression against Yemen, which supports the Palestinian cause by preventing navigation in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea for Israeli and American ships.”
Al-Masawa’s warning came during a visit to a number of officers and soldiers at frontline positions on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Al-Masawa called for accepting the initiative launched by Sayyed Abdumalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, which included opening a number of roads in the province.
