STC elements kidnap citizen, storm his home in Aden

ADEN, March 25 (YPA) – Armed elements affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) stormed, on Monday, a citizen’s home in the Mu’alla district of Aden and took him to an unknown location.

Human rights sources reported that members of the “Asifa” militia, affiliated with leader “Oussan Al-Anshli,” stormed the home of citizen “Khaled Al-Humaiqani” in the Al-Kabsa neighborhood shortly before the Maghrib call to prayer, and kidnapped him without providing any clear reasons.

Reports have been conflicting about the motive for the kidnapping, without revealing the circumstances of the incident.

This incident is part of a series of repeated violations committed by STC factions in Aden, amid the coalition-affiliated government’s continued silence regarding these violations against civilians.
