Theft of merchants’ containers spread inside free zone customs in Aden

ADEN, March 12 (YPA) – A number of traders complained about their commercial containers being stolen inside the customs yard of the Free Zone in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Emirati factions.

Local media sources reported that traders’ containers were being stolen during customs inspections carried out by workers loyal to the Southern Transitional Council (STC), causing the traders significant financial losses.

The sources stressed that the phenomenon of container theft is widely repeated, which prompted them to break their silence and demand a reduction in the theft of their goods, which affects the movement of trade.
