Two people killed in major fire at commercial center in Sanaa

SANAA, Mar. 10 (YPA) – A fire broke out on Monday in the “Yemeni Hyper House” mall in Sanaa, resulting in the killing of two workers and causing injuries to others.

The Civil Defense Authority explained that the fire started in the second floor of the mall and spread to the back. The workers were trying to remove some contents when the ceiling collapsed. A worker was also injured and was transferred to the hospital.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
