Al-Qassam Brigades decide to hand over bodies of 4 Israeli prisoners

GAZA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The military spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades announced on Wednesday that the Al-Qassam Brigades decided to hand over the bodies of four Zionist occupation’s prisoners.

Spokesman Abu Obeida said in a statement this came within the framework of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal.

Earlier in the day, Hamas affirmed in a statement that the Palestinian resistance would hand over the bodies of 4 Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, coinciding with releasing the seventh batch of Palestinian prisoners by the occupation, in addition to the children and women detained from Gaza.

“The Egyptian mediators guaranteed this, and Hamas is committed to the process and keen to complete the agreement and oblige the occupation to it,” the statement added. The upcoming exchange process would take place through a new mechanism that guarantees the occupation’s commitment to implementation.”
