Iran’s IRGC begins second stage of “Great Messenger” maneuvers

TEHRAN, Feb. 18 (YPA) – The second phase of the “Great Messenger 19” maneuvers carried out by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s Ground Force in the southwestern region of the country began this morning, Tuesday.

This phase aims to implement various defensive scenarios to confront any threats coming from outside the region, in line with the doctrine of equal combat.

This phase also witnesses the unveiling of the latest military innovations of the IRGC Ground Forces, including developments in the fields of armored vehicles, drones, and missiles, in addition to testing them practically in the field.

It is worth noting that the first phase of the Great Prophet 19 maneuvers was held last January in the presence of Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC.
