One killed, another wounded by STC’s gunfire in Dhalea

DHALEA, Feb. 10 (YPA) –  One citizen was killed, and his brother was seriously injure, on Monday, by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)  gunfire in the Al-Azariq district of Al-Dhalea province.

Human rights sources reported that the armed individuals identified as “Akram Hassan Mohammed Qasim and Luqman Ahmed Maqbil,” directly opened fire on the citizens, Ayad Naji Al-Awdi and his brother Ali Naji Al-Awdi, killing Ali instantly, while seriously  injuring  Ayad.

The sources indicated that the locals transported Ayad to a healthcare center for treatment, where his condition remains critical due to the severity of his injuries.

They added that the citizens managed to apprehend one of the gunmen, while the other fled to an unknown location.
