Tax office union declares general strike in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 08 (YPA) – The Tax office union of the Aden City announced a general strike starting tomorrow, Sunday.

In a statement, the union called on employees to attend and commit to the strike, without mentioning the reasons for the strike.

Aden and the rest of the southern governorates are witnessing widespread popular demonstrations and protests due to the economic collapse, deterioration of basic services, and the interruption of salaries for the fourth consecutive month.
