Gunmen blow up citizen’s house in Taiz, killing his daughter

TAIZ, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen blew up on Tuesday a citizen’s house in the Al-Ma’afer district, south of Taiz province, controlled by Islah Party factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition, causing the death of his daughter and injuries to his family members.

According to local sources, the explosion occurred in the house of citizen Abdulrahman Ali Muhammad Al-Ajam in Buraidah village of Al-Sawa area in Al-Ma’afer district.

The sources explained that the explosion resulted in a large fire in the house, causing the death of the girl and serious injuries to some family members.

The gunmen fled the site after committing the crime, and no information was available about the motives behind the incident, according to the sources. The competent authorities have not issued any statement in this regard.
