UNRWA confirms imminent halt of its work in occupied Palestinian territories

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 28 (YPA) – UNRWA’s Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said on Tuesday that “Israel’s accusation of UNRWA of terrorism is a precedent in the work of United Nations institutions.”

Lazzarini stressed that the agency’s work in the occupied Palestinian territories would be disrupted due to the Israeli ban.

He added that “the Israeli ban on UNRWA activities will put the fate of millions of Palestinians at stake.”
