High-level delegation from Hamas leadership arrives in Cairo to discuss developments in ceasefire agreement

SANAA, Jan. 27 (YPA) – A high-level leadership delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Monday evening, on an official visit headed by the President of the Council leader, Muhammad Darwish.

Hamas explained in a statement that the delegation is scheduled to meet with the Egyptian leadership and discuss developments in implementing the ceasefire agreement and prisoner exchange in its three stages.

She pointed out that the delegation includes the leadership council and the movement’s negotiating delegation, namely “Khaled Meshaal, Khalil Al-Hayya, Zaher Jabarin, Nizar Awadallah, Muhammad Nasr, and Ghazi Hamad.”

Hamas also pointed out that the delegation will meet with the released prisoners who were released last Saturday.
