Thousands of Jordanians protest against US designation of Ansarullah as terrorist organization

AMMAN, Jan. 27 (YPA) – Thousands of Jordanians staged mass protests in solidarity with the Yemeni people, condemning the Washington’s inclusion of Ansarullah on the list of “terrorist organizations”.

The protesters, gathered outside the US embassy in Amman last Thursday, chanted slogans denouncing the decision.

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order to re-designate the Ansarullah movement as a “terrorist organization”, according to a document issued by the White House.
