Sanaa declares dozens of coalition-deceived prisoners to be released on Saturday

SANAA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa-based National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, Abdul Qader Al-Mortada, declared that dozens of prisoners to be released on Saturday from the other side, in a unilateral initiative.

He affirmed in a post on X that the step came in implementation of the directives made by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council.

“We will implement a unilateral initiative from one party in which we will release dozens of prisoners from the other party,” he added. “The rest of the details will be clarified in a press conference during the implementation of the initiative.”
