HODEIDA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The Yemen Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Study Center announced, on Thursday, that its monitoring stations recorded a noticeable earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale in the Hays district of Hodeida province.
The head of the center, Eng. Mohammed Hussein Al-Houthi, explained that the earthquake was recorded at 6:37 pm on Thursday, and was felt by residents in the area and neighboring areas.
He pointed out that the center’s specialists are continuously monitoring developments in seismic activity in the region, in various Yemeni regions, and neighboring regions.
