Large-scale marches held in Yemen universities to support Gaza

SANAA, Aug.06 (YPA) – Large-scale marches were staged on Wednesday in several Yemen universities to denounce the continued genocidal attacks the Israeli occupation’s committing against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

More than 6,000 students in Sanaa University participated in a popular parade of the Al-Aqsa Flood courses, affirming their readiness to participate in supporting the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli enemy.

In this context, another massive march was organized by Hodeida University in coordination with private universities, colleges, educational and vocational institutes, condemning the crimes of the siege and starvation committed by the Israeli enemy against the people of Gaza, under the slogan “With the armed forces…We will not let Gaza die of hunger”.

The march, including academics, students, teachers, and higher education workers, expressed the unified popular and academic stance in support of the Palestinian cause and in opposition to the aggression and unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the Sanaa-based September 21 University for Medical and Applied Sciences organized two protest rallies denouncing the crimes of starvation and genocide the Zionist entity’s committing against the Palestinians people of Gaza and welcoming the fourth phase of escalation.

The rallies called on Arab and Islamic peoples to take urgent action and break their shameful silence by pressuring their governments to demand an end to the massacres and violations committed by the Israeli occupation in the Strip.
