One killed, another injured in assassination attempt of security official in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 19 (YPA) – A security official survived, on Sunday, an assassination attempt by unknown gunmen in the city of Aden, which is under coalition control.

Local sources confirmed that unknown gunmen believed to belong to the Transitional Council factions targeted the former Cairo Police Director, Abu Bakr Al-Subiea, with a hail of bullets that led to the death of one of his guards and the injury of another in the Cairo neighborhood in central Aden.

The sources explained that the gunmen were able to escape to an unknown destination, amidst the state of security chaos witnessed in Aden.
