Death toll tops 46,913 since Israeli aggression on Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – The death toll from the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 46,913 citizens since Oct 7, 2023.

According to the Gaza-based Palestinian Ministry of Health, that 110,750 others were also injured, the majority of whom are children and women, in the ongoing aggression.

“Israeli forces killed 14 people and injured 25 others in four massacres of families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said in a statement.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, with rescuers are unable to reach them,” the statement added.

Earlier in the day, spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza had announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire came into effect had reached 9 martyrs in Gaza City, the northern city, and Khan Yunis, while the number of wounded had reached more than 36.
