DAMASCUS, Jan. 16 (YPA) – A civilian was killed and 10 others, including four media professionals, were injured on Thursday as a result of an air and artillery bombardment carried out by Turkish forces on the Tishreen Dam in northern Syria.
According to Syrian media, the bombing targeted civilians who were present on the dam body this afternoon, using warplanes and heavy artillery by the Turkish army and its affiliated armed factions.
There were reports that Turkish warplanes and drones launched intense bombardment on the vicinity of the Tishreen Dam throughout last night and until today.
In a related context, the village of Al-Abush, located on the Zarkan-Tal Tamr road in northeastern Syria, was subjected to heavy artillery shelling carried out by Turkish forces and factions loyal to them.
