Al-Houthi talks about paying coalition-held areas’ salaries

SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, commented on Thursday the salaries of employees in the coalition-held areas of Yemen.

Al-Houthi said in a post on X that Sanaa’s readiness to pay the salaries in the provinces that the coalition and its armed faction are taking over, if the revenues from these areas would be deposited in the Sanaa-based Central Bank.

“I challenge anyone to accept this equation now,” he added. “Those who run it will not accept it because they only care about their personal interests.”
