SANAA, Jan. 12 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Foreign Minister, Jamal Ahmed Amer, met on Sunday with the regional director of the Spanish Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), who is currently visiting Yemen.
During the meeting, Minister Amer affirmed that his ministry would provide all possible facilities for the MSF, considering it an international non-governmental organization that is not subject to American dictates and pressures.
The minister explained that targeting the Hodeida ports of Ras Issa and Salif by Israeli, American and British aggression-led coalition aimed at destroying them, noting that the aggression coalition has resorted to spreading rumors and false news among international shipping companies, that three ports did not receive and accommodate all types of ships after destroying.
He called on international commercial shipping companies to reach the three ports of Hodeida, and they would find all services and facilities.
Mr. Amer hoped that the MSF’s would focus within its work program for the coming period on supporting medical units and centers in rural areas to ensure that medical services reach the largest number of segments of society in the various provinces.
In turn, the regional director of the Spanish MSF, added that it did not depend on countries for its budget and revenues, but rather on donations from individuals, without any conditions.
