Powerful explosion shuts down “Mukalla Iron Factory”

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 05 (YPA) – A powerful explosion rocked the “Al-Mukalla Iron and Steel Factory” in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, on Saturday evening.

Local sources in Mukalla city reported that the explosion was caused by an explosive device, which led to material damage inside the factory, as the pressing machine was completely out of order.

The sources did not provide any information about the party responsible for the explosion or planting the explosive device, and no injuries were recorded as a result of the incident.
