Israeli occupation continues to violate ceasefire in Lebanon

BEIRUT, Jan. 04 (YPA) -The Zionist enemy entity on Friday continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement declared on November 27

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the enemy army’s bulldozers demolished homes in neighborhoods of the town of Naqoura and other areas. These actions delayed the Lebanese Army’s entry into the town.

Meanwhile, the Tyre-Naqoura highway has witnessed heightened activity, with UNIFIL patrols moving alongside Lebanese Army units, according to the agency .

The agency also noted that the road between Bayada and Naqoura witnessed heavy movements of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) alongside the Lebanese army.

On the other hand, the Lebanese Army’s engineering teams are conducting thorough surveys in the towns of Shama and Bayada, from which the enemy’s forces have withdrawn.

It is worth mentioning that the Zionist enemy forces are present in more than 30 Lebanese border villages and towns, despite the ceasefire announcement on November 27th, which stipulated that the enemy’s forces should withdraw from the villages and towns they had infiltrated within 60 days.
