Armed ambush leaves dead, wounded in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 02 (YPA) – A person was killed and others were injured on Wednesday evening in an armed ambush in the Shibam Hadramout district, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition factions in eastern Yemen.

A local source said that “militants believed to be tribesmen carried out an armed ambush targeting citizens near Al-Qara School, leaving one dead and a number of wounded.”

The source suggested that the armed ambush that targeted citizens was due to tribal revenge in Al-Qara Al-Abdulaziz.
