US forces send fourth batch of military reinforcements to Syria

BAGHDAD, Dec. 23 (YPA) – The US forces sent the fourth batch of huge military reinforcements from the Iraqi city of Erbil-located Harir base to the Syrian province of Hasakah.

The Syrian Observatory said about 60 trucks and military vehicles carrying military and logistical equipment and advanced weapons left Al-Waleed border crossing with Iraq to the Al-Omar oil field base and the Conoco gas plant in the Deir Ezzor countryside of Syria.

The center pointed out that the new reinforcements came one day after an American cargo plane carrying military and logistical equipment in addition to American soldiers landed at the Kharab al-Jir base in Hasakah’s Rmelan countryside, amidst intense flights of American helicopters in the sky of the region.

According to Iraqi media outlets, US forces sent last Saturday a convoy of more than 20 heavy vehicles carrying armored vehicles and Humvees supported by helicopters from the Harir base in Erbil province in the north, where American forces are stationed, to the Syrian province of Hasakah, adding that the convoy is the second in less than 24 hours.
