DAMASCUS, Dec. 23 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces continued to expand again into new towns in the southwestern Damascus countryside.
Syrian activists and media outlets reported that Zionist soldiers, accompanied by military vehicles, penetrated to the height of Sharat al-Harmon and intended to establish a new point in the foothills overlooking the southwestern Damascus countryside.
On Sunday, the Syrian Human Rights Observatory explained that the Zionist forces gave the residents of the city of Al-Baath in Quneitra two hours to surrender their weapons, threatening to storm the city if the specified deadline was not complied with.
This came two days after the Zionist forces entered the western outskirts of the town of “Al-Rafid” in the southern countryside of Quneitra, where intense movements of Israeli vehicles were seen inside the area.
For nearly 15 days, the Israeli occupation forces have been invading and occupying Syrian territory, without any attempts by the new ruling forces in Syria to confront the “Israeli” expansion operations inside Syria.
