Iraqi intelligence arrests seven ISIS members in Kirkuk

BAGHDAD, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The Military Intelligence Directorate in Iraq announced on Friday the arrest of terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State (ISIS) group in Kirkuk Governorate.

In a statement, the directorate said, “Several qualitative operations were carried out, resulting in the arrest of seven terrorists wanted by the Iraqi judiciary in the Al-Adala and 1 Haziran areas of the Kirkuk Governorate.”

The statement added that one of the arrested individuals was a primary transporter for the group’s fighters, weapons, equipment, and logistics.
