SANAA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Sanaa, Jamal Ahmed Amer, discussed on Monday with the resident representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Sanaa, Inshirah Ahmed, the activities implemented by the Fund.
In the meeting, Amer listened to the report of the UNFPA resident representative on her field visit to a number of projects implemented by the Fund in the provinces of Ibb and Taiz.
The foreign minister emphasized the significance of the fund’s ongoing efforts in implementing women’s economic empowerment projects, thereby fostering new opportunities for women to earn a living.
In turn, the UNFPA resident representative confirmed that the fund is keen to ensure that all the projects align with societal needs, particularly those of women.
