Lebanese government directs reopening of embassy in Damascus

BEIRUT, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Lebanese media reported on Monday that caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati held a meeting with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdullah Bou Habib, and discussed current diplomatic contacts to stop Israeli attacks.

The meeting also discussed the situation in Syria, and Mikati gave his directives to reopen the Lebanese embassy in Damascus after it had been closed during the recent events.
