DAMASCUS, Dec. 10 (YPA) – A senior Syrian organic chemist was found murdered in his home in the capital, Damascus, according to several local civil sources.
Dr. Hamdi Ismail Nada, who is considered one of the most prominent scientists in his field, has made significant contributions to the development of chemical research at the local and international levels.
Local sources affirmed the assassination appeared to be a period of chaos and major assassinations orchestrated by global intelligence agencies.
The sources added that the crime occurred under mysterious circumstances, which caused a state of shock and sadness among academic and scientific circles.
Syria has experienced a security vacuum since the collapse of the Assad regime, at a time when some international parties, including Israeli occupation, are working to implement their projects in Syria by bombing the Syrian military infrastructure and expanding into the contact line areas in Quneitra and Jabal Ash Shaykh.
