STC determines its position on confrontations in Syria

ADEN, Dec. 07 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) announced on Saturday its position on the current events in some Syrian regions.

Fadl al-Jaadi, a member of the STC’s presidency, said those who call themselves the Syrian opposition possess tanks, armored vehicles, and drones, and they have been gathered from the most extremist religious movements, not to overthrow the Assad regime, but to fall Syria.

He stressed that if “Syria falls into the hands of terrorism, the entire region will be plunged into unparalleled devastation.”
