Hebrew media: the war in Syrian Aleppo serves “Israeli” interests

WORLD, Nov. 30 (YPA) – Hebrew media outlets have reported that the ongoing conflict between US- and Turkish-backed armed groups and the Syrian Arab Army in Aleppo and Idlib serves Israeli interests.

The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom summed up this perspective with the phrase, “The enemy of our enemy is fighting our enemy,” highlighting the battles in Aleppo between these groups and the Syrian army.

Another Israeli publication, Maariv, was more direct in its headline, stating, “Erdogan’s Mujahideen against the Resistance Axis.”

These viewpoints have been widely echoed in the Israeli press, with both media and politicians expressing approval of the situation in northern Syria.

Israel views Syria as an active front in its broader regional conflict, and recent reports suggest that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has been deeply involved in security discussions, particularly concerning Gaza and Lebanon, indicating that Israel is closely monitoring the events unfolding in Syria.
