ADEN, Nov. 26 (YPA) – The coalition-affiliated criminal prosecution issued on Monday directives to forcibly arrest the militants of the “Hadramout Tribal Council” at all military points.
Local sources said this step came due to their prevention of the passage of fuel tankers for Aden power stations and others.
The so-called “Public Prosecutor” of the coalition in Aden directed the security authorities in Hadramout Coast and Wadi to quickly arrest those who cut off the fuel tankers for electricity, referring to the militants of the Tribal Alliance.
The prosecution described, according to the issued memorandum, the escalations of the “Tribal Alliance” as acts punishable by law against their perpetrators.
The Tribal Alliance had announced the escalation against the “Saudi-Presidential Leadership Council” and the coalition-funded Aden government early last July to demand Hadramout’s legitimate rights to natural resources and political partnership, leading to the announcement of the province’s self-rule at the end of last October.
