At least 22 civilians killed, dozens injured in Israeli bombing on Jabalia camp

GAZA, Oct. 17 (YPA) – At least 22 civilians were killed and dozens injured on Thursday, including women and children, in a horrific bombing that the Zionist occupation forces carried out on a school sheltering displaced people in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media outlets said that the occupation forces bombed the Abu Hussein Elementary School, which is affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), and which houses displaced persons in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

The sources pointed out that fires broke out in the tents of the displaced inside the school yard as a result of the occupation’s bombing.

Palestinian Ministry of Health said that Kamal Adwan Hospital and Al-Awda Hospital received 25 martyrs and 150 wounded civilians, as ambulance crews are unable to reach the rest in the targeted school.

Hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip are also unable to provide services to the wounded amid the tight siege that the occupation has imposed on Jabalia camp for the 13th consecutive day.
