Demonstrations in Rome and Lisbon demand ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Thousands of people demonstrated, on Sunday, in the Italian capital Rome and the Portuguese city of Lisbon to demand a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

Hundreds of demonstrators, who had marched in central Rome to demand a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, chanted “Free Palestine” and also called for an end to the fighting in Lebanon, which has witnessed an escalation in hostilities in recent weeks.

On the other hand, a similar demonstration was also organized in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, where thousands of people gathered to demand an end to hostilities in Gaza.
