Aden, Lahj plunge into darkness on eve of October 14 revolution

ADEN, Oct. 13 (YPA) – The governorates of Aden and Lahj on Sunday, were plunged into a total darkness in conjunction with the celebration of the 61st anniversary of the October 14 Revolution.

Local sources reported that electricity services were cut off in recent hours due to the shutdown of power generation stations in Lahj, which resulted from the complete failure of the Aden electrical grid.

It was noted that the power stations have been out of service for nearly 10 hours in Aden and Lahj, amid accusations against unknown parties for causing the blackout.
