Media campaigns roam US streets to expose Israeli occupation crimes

WASHINGTON, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Several organizations in the United States supporting Palestinian rights have launched media campaigns to highlight the facts to American public opinion regarding the crimes that the Israeli occupation committing against the Palestinian people.

These campaigns, using trucks carrying billboards under in the name of “American Muslims for Palestine, roamed the streets of cities such as Washington, DC, New York, Chicago, and California, highlighting the genocide being committed against the Palestinians, which has been financially supported by the US government since October 2023, using the tax dollars paid by American citizens.

The organizations stressed that for decades, American taxpayer money has funded the Israeli occupation, silencing the voices of those suffering from apartheid. This year alone, billions of dollars of taxpayer money have been used to support and expand this genocide in the region.

This campaign is an opportunity to challenge this narrative and ensure that the call for Palestinian freedom is heard by policymakers and the public alike, they said.

The campaign calls for an end to US military aid to Israel and reminds lawmakers that they cannot continue to ignore the plight of the Palestinian people.

Since the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the American media outlets have been witnessed a noticeable shift in the presentation of information, as there is a complete bias towards the Israeli narrative, which affects how the massacres taking place in Gaza are covered.
