Israeli forces suffer from heavy casualties on Lebanon border

BEIRUT, Oct. 02 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces suffered on Wednesday from heavy casualties as a result of the Hezbollah attack on the Lebanon borders.

Hezbollah said in a statement that a large number of occupation soldiers were killed and wounded in a missile and artillery attack that targeted military gatherings in the orchards of Matla area, in addition to detonating an explosive device in infantry force during its infiltration attempt towards Yaroun area and outskirts of the town of Kfarkela.

Hezbollah’s statement affirmed that its fighters destroy 5 Merkava tanks with guided missiles while advancing towards the town of Maroun El Ras, as well as to a missile salvo, hit gatherings of the Israeli occupation forces in Maskaf Am and Kafr Jalaadi, Abirim settlement, and Odaisseh.
