GAZA, Aug. 09 (YPA) – The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced that its fighters had targeted a group of Israeli occupation soldiers east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a brief statement released on Friday, the group said: “We shelled a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers penetrating the vicinity of Al-Awda School east of Khan Younis with regular mortar shells (60 caliber).”
The attack is part of a series of operations carried out by Palestinian resistance factions against the occupation forces engaged in ongoing ground operations across various areas of Gaza.
