Human rights activist reveals catastrophe of spread of drugs in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 02 (YPA) – The phenomenon of the spread of drugs among young people in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the Saudi-led coalition, in the middle of public streets and residential areas, has been greatly raised.

Adenian activist Sanaa Jameel revealed that she found the remains of narcotic drug tapes thrown near her house, which confirms the widespread use of drugs and hashish in Aden.

Jameel emphasized the seriousness of the phenomenon of drug abuse among young people, as it is spread in their gatherings, which poses a threat to the future of generations.

In a post on her Facebook account, the activist called on families to follow up on their children and educate them about the dangers of drug abuse.

The spread of drugs in Aden, which suffers from security chaos due to the absence of state authorities, has resulted in many crimes and the spread of armed gangs with the participation of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) elements.

Drug and hashish selling gangs spread in the city under the protection of the leaders of the STC factions, which have reached the point of armed confrontations between them for reasons demanding the release of the seized quantities.
