Southern politician assaults STC factions in Aden

ADEN. Sept. 30 (YPA) – A leader in the “Southern Movement” in Aden city, south of Yemen, assaulted on Monday the leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions in the city.

Abdulrahman Al-Wali, the leader in the movement and an academic at Aden University, accused the leaders of the STC of protecting the security chaos in Aden so that they would not be held accountable.

“It is illogical to postpone the system and the law to a later date under the pretext that it is not the right time,” he said in a post on X.

Al-Wali pointed out that these leaders have become far from the respect and trust of the citizens.
