Malaysian police arrest pro-Palestine protesters near US embassy

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Malaysian police arrested on Monday seven pro-Palestine protesters as they gathered near the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

Lawyers for Liberty organization condemned these arrests, considering them illegal and inconsistent with the right to peaceful assembly and solidarity with Palestine, noting that the police are not acting in accordance with the laws in force in the country.
