Death toll from Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 51

SANAA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut last Friday has risen to 51 martyrs.

The Lebanese Civil Defense said in a statement that “there are still 10 people missing.”

The process of removing rubble from the site continues for the third consecutive day as a result of the Israeli raid, the statement revealed, adding that forensic evidence has begun its work to determine the identities of the martyrs whose remains were found.

In turn, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Health in Lebanon reported that the Israeli enemy’s raids on the towns of Al-Malikiyah and Aitaroun in southern Lebanon had led to the martyrdom of 3 people and the injury of four others.

The aggression by the occupation on the Lebanon’s suburb came after it had committed a massacre on last Tuesday and Wednesday, by blowing up Pagers and wireless devices, which resulted in the martyrdom of 37 people and the injury of 2931 others.

The Israeli aggression resulted also in the martyrdom of a group of Hezbollah’s leaders, including Ibrahim Aqil and Ahmed Wahbi.
