Military commander: September 21 Revolution freed Yemen from tyranny and external guardianship

SANAA, Sept. 20 (YPA) –The commander of the Wahbi Brigades, Major General Bakil Saleh Al-Wahbi, affirmed that the September 21 Revolution freed Yemen from “the tyranny of tyrants, oppressors and external guardianship.

“The revolution resulted in the establishment of a strong army committed to its faith-based identity and Quranic culture, leading to its development across various military and technical fields,” he said in a statement on Thursday.

General Al-Wahbi pointed out that the tenth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution comes as Yemen achieves significant military, security, and political victories.

“Thanks to God, Yemen has inflicted shame and disgrace on the fleets of the arrogant powers in the seas,” he added.

” Yemen has also supported its brothers in Gaza with missile strikes targeting Israeli enemy positions as part of successive escalation phases,” he said,  affirming that the Palestinian cause is a top priority of the September 21 Revolution.

The commander renewed his allegiance to God, His Messenger, and the leader, vowing to continue the struggle in the path of God against oppressors until victory is achieved, God willing.
